In March 2009, Sue & I travelled to North America.
We landed in Las Vegas and then started our Grand Adventure, driving
to Grand Canyon, Page, Monument Valley, Moab (where we visited Arches & Canyon Lands N.P's)
and finally to Bryce Canyon. In all we travelled nearly 2000 miles and met a few wonderful
people along the way. Two of the diners we stopped at are really worth a mention ~ The
Peach Tree Juice Cafe in Monticello and The Comb Ridge Coffee Shop in Bluff.
In Monument Valley, we went on a Sunrise & Sunset Tour organised by local guide Tom Phillips
This was an amazing experience and one we would recommend to anyone. As the sun rose
behind the Totem Pole, Tom played his flute. It was a memorable experience that will stay
with us forever. Visit Tom's site here: Kéyah Hózhóní Tours.
In all we took over a thousand digital images each.
